The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly… A Geocaching Story?

The Good

After returning from a geocaching field trip yesterday, I was surprised when I opened my email and discovered a message from Groundspeak support. I was of the impression my recent request was handled and everything was ok. I came to discover that it was and the message was a follow up from the representative who helped me. (I didn’t ask her permission to post her name, so I won’t). I found myself asking, what has changed at Groundspeak to make them so customer friendly? Well, it’s possible that they didn’t change and maybe I did. Whichever the case may be, it’s good and I want to foster that relationship.

The Bad

The representative made mention of a Groundspeak employee (for lack of a better term) whom she had spoken with who had dealt with me in the past. This person remembered me, but I don’t remember them. Hope it wasn’t an experience that keeps the good portion from developing, that would be bad.

The Ugly

They got my order wrong at the Chick Fil A drive through yesterday. It was absolutely horrible. I ordered the Chicken salad with lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise. They forgot the mayo… It’s tough out there on the trail. :)
