Geocaching.com wins this round, feet down?

Ok… I almost spit my drink all over the screen when I saw this. Allow me to set the table before serving the main course.

Most cachers are aware of Garmin launching their OpenCaching.Com geocache search engine. Most cachers would know who you were talking about if you mentioned signal the frog. To get up to speed, Garmin has introduced their mascot Opie the squirrel. In a very clever move, geocaching.coms blog Latitude 47 has put up this gem of a photo for their caption contest.

I can think of some interesting captions, but I can’t submit them. Kids might read Latitude 47.

Absolutely brilliant. I think we are edging out of the cold war level with this one and moving toward a Geo-Jihad state.

Ok here’s mine. “When negotiations with the leader of the terrorist woodland creature clan broke down, the Garmin reluctantly agreed to making him its mascot. ;)
